Observe and learn how an OT works in three settings: in-patient, out-patient and long-term care. I helped collect and put equipment away. I also was an extra spotter for patients who were unstable walkers, and also carried oxygen tanks for others.
The workers all made me feel a part of the hospital and nursing home. The therapists were all very down-to-earth people and they really taught me a lot about acute and long-term rehab.
