Dental Partnerships

Your Pathway to Dental Medicine

Keuka College has established strategic partnerships with prestigious dental schools, offering our students unique opportunities to pursue their aspirations in dental medicine. These Early Acceptance Programs (EAPs) provide a streamlined path for students to secure early admission to dental school while completing their undergraduate studies at Keuka College.

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM)

Keuka College has partnered with LECOM School of Dental Medicine to offer an exciting Early Acceptance Program (EAP). This collaboration allows eligible students to secure early admission to LECOM's Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) program while completing their undergraduate education at Keuka College.

How does it work?

Eligible students can apply to the EAP while fulfilling Keuka College's entrance requirements. Applicants have the opportunity to interview with LECOM either before enrolling at Keuka College or during their first two years of study. Successful candidates receive a provisional acceptance letter, guaranteeing them a reserved seat in LECOM's Doctor of Dental Medicine program upon meeting all necessary criteria.

The program consists of two phases:

Phase I: This encompasses undergraduate education at Keuka College. Students must complete a minimum of 60 credit hours as full-time students while maintaining the required academic performance.

Phase II: This involves dental school education at LECOM's Bradenton, FL campus, where students engage in rigorous training and clinical experiences essential for their future careers as dental professionals.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents who meet Keuka College's entrance requirements. They may be rising high school seniors, high school graduates, or current college students but should not have earned more than 65 undergraduate credit hours. Additionally, applicants must enroll as full-time students for at least two consecutive years prior to matriculation at LECOM.
